Game of Thrones, Season 6 reviews

Now that season 6 of Game of Thrones is done, here’s a compilation of my reviews for @indiewire.

HBO did not make screeners available this season. Rather than do traditional episodic recaps, the great @lizlet instead convened a group of writers to provide short, rapid responses to each episode. All the millions they spent on this episode, all the action and CGI and blood and guts.

But this was the moment that killed me. The way she can’t keep from smiling when she sees him. The fury that’s been driving her all season vanished in an instant.

I’ve had moments like this. There were thankfully no arrows involved. But they were almost as devastating
