What are you waiting for? It’s not going to get any easier. There are no brilliant ideas that are just waiting 30 more minutes to jump into your head. Everything to have to say is there in your head right now, just waiting for you to type them out. So what are you waiting for. Fucking write already.

It’s easy to blame the distractions. Twitter. Facebook. Email. They are all a short command+T away, but that isn’t the problem. You are. You let those things get in the way. You are the one who chooses to look at something else. You are the one who lets the page stay empty while the day ticks away. The world will never stop for you, it’s up to you to block it out when you need to. If you don’t, it’s no ones fault but your own.

I don’t remember who originally posted this but, anyway, I will print it and stick it somewhere in my room because it is SO true.

Story of my life.


To all the people watching, I can never thank you enough for your kindness to me and I’ll think about it for the rest of my life. All I ask of you is one thing: please don’t be cynical. I hate cynicism- it’s my least favorite quality and it doesn’t lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you’re kind, amazing things will happen.




And yet so many people think it is not important to understand Math.


To put yourself forward as someone good enough to do interesting things is, by definition, to expose yourself to all kinds of negative judgments, and as far as I can tell, the fact that other people get to decide what they think of your behavior leaves only two strategies for not suffering from those judgments: not doing anything, or not caring about the reaction.
